Here comes the artist

I finally tried my hand at making flowers in soap and here's the outcome:

Turmeric soap meets cocoa flowers

Here's how they came out of the mold:

My art skills surprised me ;)

I love this mold. It is actually used to sort and store jewellery. It make great guest size soaps. And yes, I still see a soap mold in every container. :)
Scented with Orange EO and Lavender FO and colored with turmeric and cocoa powder. A vegetable soap with coconut, palm, sunflower and wheatgerm oils.

Couldn't escape the soda ash even with a cling wrap cover

More soaps in my next post...adios!!

Great Idea, the soap looks really beautiful!!!
You can get rid of the soda ash if you hold the soap top just for a few seconds over some steam, like a water kettle or an ironing thing.

@Amy: Thank you! Happened to find that mold by chance when I was looking for something else. :)

@Bobbins and Balms: Thank you so for your lovely comment! I really like the size too. They make nice guest soaps or they can be packed into a gift set.

@Jennifer: Thank you so much!! Regarding the wheatgrass, there has been a slight fading, but it is still green. I will put up a picture for you in my next post.

You must be really excited about tomorrow. I will be thinking of you and I wish you all the very best, dear Jennifer!! Will be waiting to hear about all the events. Have a great great great opening day and may each and every day bring you success and happiness! :)
